How it works

Built with your team, two sessions a week.

We prepare and rehearse every step. Your staff build it in your own accounts while we guide them, so it keeps running after we've gone. Here's how a week runs, what the first six weeks look like, and the terms.

§01Why with you

Why we build it with you, not for you.

A finished system, handed over, is the easiest thing to buy. It's also where most AI projects go wrong, usually in one of these five ways.

  1. 01

The know-how leaves with the builder.

They spent weeks learning how your business works. When they go, so does that knowledge, and the next person starts again at your expense.

What we do insteadYour team builds it, so the knowledge stays in the building.

  2. 02

    It breaks quietly.

A tool changes, an AI model is retired, your prices move. Nothing flags it, and it keeps doing the wrong thing for weeks.

What we do insteadEach job alerts its owner when a step fails, and someone inside knows how to fix it.

  3. 03

    It automates the mess.

Automate a broken process and you get the same mess, only faster.

What we do insteadWe sort the process with the people who run it before anything gets automated.

  4. 04

    The price is a guess.

A fixed quote for a build is set before anyone has seen your data or your exceptions. Either you overpay, or corners get cut when it runs over.

What we do insteadYou pay by the week for work done, and you can stop after any week.

  5. 05

Nobody on your side owns it.

It belongs to the agency, so nobody inside checks it, improves it or notices when it drifts.

What we do insteadEvery job has a named owner on your team from the first session.

Done for you still makes sense for ads and search. The platforms are standard, the handover is clean, and you keep admin on every account. That's why we run those for you if you'd rather.

§02How a week works

A Build Week, start to finish.

Every week follows the same pattern, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Week before

    We rehearse

We run every step ourselves on our own test accounts, so we already know where it snags. You get a short checklist for adding us as a user. You never share passwords.

  2. Monday

    Session one

Whoever does the work builds it on their own screen, in your accounts, while we guide them. About 90 minutes on Teams, Meet or Zoom.

  3. Tue to Wed

    Between sessions

We fix anything that came up and prepare the next piece, down to the exact text to paste.

  4. Thursday

    Session two

Another 90 minutes. The next piece gets built, and we check the first one still runs.

  5. Friday

    The note

One page on what changed and what now runs by itself. The invoice for the week comes with it.

Fig. 2 One Build Week. Two sessions with you, everything else on our side.

What we need from you, and what we do.

Your side

  • Two 90-minute sessions a week, with whoever does the work
  • Adding us as a user from a checklist, once
  • Deciding what gets built next

Our side

  • Rehearsing every step on our own accounts first
  • Preparing each session, down to the words to paste
  • Sorting the process before anything is automated
  • A dry run on test data before anything reaches a customer
  • Fixing whatever breaks between sessions
  • Telling you when something isn't worth automating
§03Week by week

The first six weeks.

Your audit decides the jobs, so they differ from one business to the next. The order stays the same: one job working first, then making it stick, then your team taking over. If ads are your biggest cost, checking the tracking comes first.

  1. Before

    The audit

A one-page note with the first job, an estimate of the hours it would save, a six-week plan and the weekly price. You add us as a user from a checklist.

  2. Week 1

    A first job

One small, repetitive job runs in your accounts, first on test data, then on real work with a person checking what it produces.

  3. Week 2

    Make it stick

Week one's job is fixed where it snagged and written down. The second job is under way.

  4. Week 3

    Widen out

A second area, often marketing: your weekly figures on one page, or first drafts of posts and pages.

  5. Week 4

    Join it up

The pieces pass work to each other, so an enquiry reaches your CRM and the CRM feeds the report without anyone retyping.

  6. Week 5

    Your team leads

Someone on your side builds a new piece while we watch and step in only when asked.

  7. Week 6

    Review

A list of what runs, the hours it saves each week against the audit estimate, and what's left. You carry on, pause or stop.

Fig. 3 A typical first plan. Everything built stays with you, whatever you decide after week six.

What stays with you

It's in your accounts

Your Google or Microsoft workspace, your CRM, your ad accounts. We don't host anything you depend on.

It's written down

Each piece comes with a plain-English note on how it works and how to fix the usual problems.

A person signs it off

Nothing reaches a customer or changes in your accounts until someone on your team has agreed to it.

Rules everyone can follow

A short list of approved AI tools and what data can go into each, so client details don't end up in whatever tab was open.

§04Ways to work

Three ways to work with us.

Most firms start with Build Weeks. Some add one of the other two, and the audit note says which, if any, would pay for itself.

Our main work

Build Weeks

AI set up in your operations and marketing, built by your team while we guide them.

  • Two 90-minute sessions a week
  • All preparation, rehearsal and fixes
  • A note every Friday
  • Weekly, stop after any week

Best when the same jobs eat the same hours every week.

Done for you

Channels run for you

Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, AI search and tracking, run by us so your team can stay on the work.

  • You keep admin on every account
  • A flat weekly fee, whatever you spend on ads
  • A Friday note on what changed, what it cost and what it brought in
  • Stop after any week

Best when ads are a big cost and nobody inside has time to run them properly.

Until you hire your own

A marketing lead, part time

Someone senior to set the plan and the budget, choose agencies and freelancers, and help you hire.

  • A marketing plan and budget you can defend
  • Agencies and freelancers briefed and checked
  • Help writing the job and interviewing
  • Handover to your new hire

Best when marketing has no owner and the spend keeps growing anyway.

Channels we run for you

  • Google AdsSearch and Performance Max, judged on leads and sales
  • Meta AdsFacebook and Instagram, with conversions checked end to end
  • SEOTechnical fixes and the pages people search for
  • AI searchShowing up when people ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity
  • ChatGPT AdsNew in the UK. We'll tell you if a small test is worth it
  • Tracking and analyticsGoogle Analytics, tags and conversions, checked so the other numbers hold up
  • Landing pagesPages that turn paid clicks into enquiries or orders
  • Weekly reportingOne page on spend, leads and sales, in plain English

§06Terms

The price comes with the audit.

Two businesses rarely need the same amount of building, so we price once we've looked. If the note isn't for you, ignore it. We won't chase.

A Build Week includes

  • Two 90-minute sessions with your team
  • All preparation and rehearsal
  • Fixes between sessions
  • The Friday note
Start with the free audit
  • Your audit note gives one weekly price and the total for the six-week plan, before you agree to anything.
  • The least you can spend is one week.
  • Invoiced on Friday, for the week just done. A week without sessions isn't invoiced.
  • A one-page agreement covering data and access. No minimum term and no notice period.
  • Pause for your busy season and pick up where you left off.
  • Channels we run for you are priced on their own, as a flat weekly fee whatever your ad spend.

The first-session promise

If nothing is working in your own accounts by the end of the first session, you don't pay for the first week.

We only run a few Build Weeks at once, so we'll agree a start date with you.

§07Questions

Questions to ask before you start.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how much there is to build, so we price it after the audit. The note gives one weekly price and the total for the six-week plan. Nothing is agreed until you say yes, and the least you can spend is one week.

Is this an agency?

Partly. If you want, we run your ads and search for you for a flat weekly fee, you keep admin on every account, and you can stop after any week. The AI side works differently: your team builds it with us and keeps it. There's no retainer and no monthly report deck.

Do we need technical people?

No. If your team can use a spreadsheet and email, they can do this. We handle the technical parts before each session, and the notes are written for whoever takes over.

Which AI tools will we need to pay for?

Often just what you already have. If a business plan for Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude would help, the audit note says which one and what it costs, before anything is bought. We don't resell software.

What about our data?

The work runs in your accounts, under your logins. When AI reads your data, it goes to the provider you choose, such as Microsoft, Google, OpenAI or Anthropic, so we set things up on business plans whose current terms say your data isn't used to train their models. The audit note names each service that would touch your data. We rehearse on our own test accounts with made-up data.

Will you sign an NDA and a data processing agreement?

Yes. If we'll see personal data, we sign a data processing agreement before we start, as UK GDPR requires. We'll sign an NDA too, if you want one.

What access do you need?

We never ask for passwords. You add us as a user: staff on Shopify, a partner on Meta and Google, a guest in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. When we stop, you remove us in a couple of clicks.

Will it work with our other systems?

Often, if the system can export a report or has an API. We start by reading from it and only write back once you agree. The audit note says what we can and can't do with yours.

How long does it take?

Something is working by the end of the first session, and your first job runs on real work by the end of week one. A first plan covers about six weeks, and you can stop after any of them.

What happens when a tool or AI model changes?

Each job alerts its owner when a step fails, and the notes say how to fix the usual causes. AI models get retired every so often, so the notes also say how to test a job on a new one. If you'd rather we did it, we price a single week on the same terms.

Who will we work with?

One senior person, the same one every session, who also writes your audit note. They've spent years running marketing and paid channels for international businesses and have set up this kind of automation themselves. You can talk to them on a call before you agree to anything.

What happens when we stop?

You keep everything. It's in your accounts, and the notes explain how each piece works and how to fix the usual problems, so someone new can pick it up. If you'd like us back, we price a single week on the same terms.

Do you only work with UK companies?

No. We're based in the UK and work in English. Sessions run online, so your team can be anywhere.

§08Free audit

Start with a free audit.

Tell us what your team does by hand and where to look. Within three working days you'll get a one-page note: the first job we'd suggest, an estimate of the hours it would save each week, a six-week plan and the weekly price. If we need longer, we'll email to say so.

We can't see your inbox or spreadsheets from the outside, so this is what makes the estimate honest. Name the systems it goes through if you can, such as Outlook, Xero, HubSpot or Shopify.

We use your details to reply, and for nothing else. No mailing list.

  1. 1

We read what you've told us, then look at your site, your ads and how enquiries reach you. If we need more, we email. A call is optional.

  2. 2

You get the note by email, written by the person who'd run your sessions. It's yours to keep.

  3. 3

If you go ahead, we agree a start date and rehearse the week before.
